Services during COVID-19:
In Church: socially distanced communal worship each Sunday at 10.30am.
Online: the 10.30am Sunday service in church is live streamed on Facebook - visit our page StJohnKingstonVale.
Prayers and Coffee Morning: every Wednesday at 11am via Zoom. To join please email email@example.com for details.
8am Every Sunday: A quiet said service lasting about
thirty minutes in traditional language (Book of Common Prayer)
10.30am Every Sunday: A service with music. There is also
something for children either during the service or Sunday
School. The service lasts about an hour and is followed by
a chance to have a chat over tea or coffee in the Church
There are occasional changes for festivals and holidays. Please
check the newsletter for details of anything coming up soon
- be it a visiting 100 voice choir or a talk on homelessness.
Prayers: Mandy is usually in
church for prayers Monday 9am and Wednesdays 10am. You may make a request for
special prayers prior to the service.
Messy Church: Messy Church is held on the last Sunday of the month at 4pm and is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. It is held outside of regular Sunday worship. All are welcome. Please check our Facebook page StJohnKingstonVale for the date of the next one (it will not take place over the summer and may not be held on certain other occasions) or call 020 8546 4079 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. What happens at Messy Church? - loads of themed messy activities/crafts which last for about an hour, then there is a short celebration with a Bible story, song and prayer for about 15 minutes and finally a meal is provided and shared together. Admission is free, but any donations are gratefully received. You are welcome to join us for all or any part of the session. No need to book - just turn up on the day. Children need to bring at least one adult with them.
Baptisms and Christenings: We welcome anyone who wishes to
be baptised, young and old alike
Weddings and Blessings: If you would like a Church Wedding
or a Blessing please contact the office for details. We also
welcome anniversary blessings.
and Memorial Services: We
are available to arrange a funeral or memorial service for
anyone who lived in the
Parish whether or not they attended church. This can be
done either in the church and or at a crematorium.
Special Services (including House Blessings): If you have
a request for any other kind of service please let Mandy
via the Office.
