8.00 a.m. Every Sunday: A quiet said service lasting about
thirty minutes in traditional language (Book of Common Prayer)
10.30
a.m. Every Sunday: A service with music. There is also
something for children either during the service or Sunday
School. The service lasts about an hour and is followed by
a chance to have a chat over tea or coffee in the large Parish
Hall.
6.30 p.m. Every First Sunday: Choral
Evensong (Book of Common Prayer). This is a peaceful and
beautiful service. The choir
is always happy for new members to join them.
There are occasional changes for festivals and holidays. Please
check the newsletter for details of anything coming up soon
- be it a visiting 100 voice choir or a talk on homelessness.
Prayers: Mandy is usually in
church for prayers Monday 9.00 a.m. and Wednesdays 10.00
a.m. You may make a request for
special prayers prior to the service.
Baptisms and Christenings: We welcome anyone who wishes to
be baptised, young and old alike
Weddings and Blessings: If you would like a Church Wedding
or a Blessing please contact the office for details. We also
welcome anniversary blessings.
Funerals
and Memorial Services: We
are available to arrange a funeral or memorial service for
anyone who lived in the
Parish whether or not they attended church. This can be
done either in the church and or at a crematorium.
Special Services (including House Blessings): If you have
a request for any other kind of service please let Mandy
know
via the Office.
